The center of this sweet Italian Cologna Mandorlato nougat treat is made of almonds, honey, sugar and egg whites. It is then finely worked by hand into the traditional torrone shape and covered with a delicious wafer.
Nougat was invented in the 1200s by bakers from Venice and its traditions have been passed along through generations, keeping the original taste. The carefully selected raw materials make Cestaro’s torrone uniquely delicious.
